So we are coming to the end of our Sex Challenge.  We started out with baby steps and now we have upped the ante and increased the tips to 3 a day (we think you can handle it!)  So get your rest and get ready for the round-up of this series!  See you Monday!

Sooooo folks.  It’s been a little while, but I’m back like I never left!!!  I had a BLAST last week.  It was my homie Yas’s birthday and we started celebrating early in the week and ended Saturday night. Wednesday night, we hit up HAUTE LOUNGE in West Hollywood for Dante Clark’s Birthday party, which was hosted by Denyce Lawton.  The entire young black Hollywood crew was in the place and we had a GREAT time!  I’m not sure how Haute will be every week, but it was certainly ON last Wednesday.  If you are looking for a cute little lounge with a decent size dance floor and a VIP that goes digital, Haute is your Wednesday night look in LA.  Friday, we went to the used-to-be exclusive Hyde Lounge on Sunset.  Although Hyde used to be EXTRA exclusive (and I loved it infinitely better then), it has changed just a bit.  You still have to be IN to get in, though.  It was SUPER CROWDED, but Friday nights are Hyde’s “urban” night now and it draws a big crowd for such a small place.  The DJ did his thing, and the Hollywood black gliteratti were all in tow. The most exciting sightings for me, someone who has been around the Hollywood scene since 5^thgrade and sees all “celebrities” as normal people, were Saul Williams (an amazing poet and intellectual) and Esthero (well self-described as your favorite singer’s favorite singer). Lastly, we switched it up and went to a very mainstream (read in between the lines) little party at Wonderland on Cahuenga.  Wonderland was much more quiet than it usually is (hey, it was the night before Valentine’s Day and All-Star Weekend, so I won’t judge).  But, the homie Rene who promotes that spot and several other amazing parties in LA held us down and made sure we had an amazing cap-off to the birthday celebration weekend.  I’m pretty partied out…..so the next blog you get from me will be more about culture and other social vibes than LA nightlife….and I’m sure you’ll appreciate the change of subject. • Ask & Peak: What worked years ago may not work anymore, so ask your partner what turns them on & ask what they would like you to do to them during sex.
• Do Your Homework: Visit the book store and take a look at the karma sutra together and discuss positions you can try when you get home.
• Wine & Dine: Prepare an impromptu candlelight dinner at home for your mate on a weeknight with some wine or champagne to toast to a good night

• Let The Music Play: Instead of going to bed watching TV, let music be your soundtrack. Make a special ipod mix for the bedroom, or your favorite romantic cd to get the mood right.
• Tonight’s the Night: Oh you don’t do that, well tonight try something that you’ve never done before.
• Turn off the lights: Take a bubble bath together, turn of the lights use candles instead, pop in some soft music to play in the background and just relax.

• Lube it Up: From KY to warming and flavored lubes you should add a little lube into the mix. Great for before, during, or after.
• Keep it Old school: Write a love note to your mate & leave it on there pillow, slip it in there purse or jacket. A short and sweet note is perfect.
• Stroke of Genius: Oil always does the trick surprise your mate with a massage.

So are you practicing or just being practical.  Yes, some of these tips you have heard before or even tried, but when not done on the regular, that's when folks get bored and seek excitement elsewhere.  A refresher course...is never a bad thing.  See you Monday morning!
